Summary:

  • We are working to build a social economy that is community-up. Our goal is to create a human-centred impact with a clear, efficient allocation of resources. A clear measurement of impact is also necessary.
  • Last year, we allocated a total of 5.2 million Singapore Dollars to 31 companies, which served 4000 disadvantaged individuals.
  • We have established a social value toolkit, which works as a framework to reflect the impact of social enterprises and thus measure the impact. We evaluate social enterprises by the impact each social enterprise desires to achieve. There is no ‘one size fits all’, and the subjectivity is hard to define because there are myriad diverse values.
